From the Publisher’s website:
“Sibylle Jazra (*1973) combines fragments of culture and a biography of migration in powerful works. For the first time, this monograph brings together the overall context of her impressive work, which has been anchored from the very beginning in the examination of contemporary urgency. In various social contexts, Jazra combines common everyday objects and materials to create a personal narrative structure. She develops humorous and critical commentaries on the current social reality site-specifically and expansively, or as multilayered individual works.”

From the artist’s website:
“The Schwankhalle is the partner of the interdisciplinary research project ›Das Dynamische Archiv‹ of the University of the Arts Bremen. The online platform based on ›open source‹ logic brings together tools and methods of selected artists willing to share them with others. Upon the invitation of the Schwankhalle, the choreographer Eva Meyer-Keller feeds a speculative and subjective glossary of 100 objects into ›Das Dynamische Archiv‹. The objects play a pivotal role in her performances: everyday things like apples, adhesive tape or tampons. As individual ›entries‹, they encapsulate historical as well as hallucinatory, mundane as well as philosophical narrations that branch out to form a complex system of references. As an archive within the archive, ›Scores of Matters‹ plays with unsuspected possibilities of (dis-/re-)orders of things whose status we believe to know.”

Text From Sonntag’s Website:
“On a monthly basis, Sonntag gives an individual artist a platform to share not only their work, but also their memories and experiences. This is done on two levels. Firstly, the artist exhibits a project in a private apartment. This allows the viewers to connect and speak to the artist in a friendly environment. Secondly, the artist’s favorite cake, which is naturally infused with memories of their life experiences, is shared with the viewers. The cake is the point of collaboration between the invited artist, April Gertler and Adrian Schiesser. Through this social experience an exchange happens which creates a connection between the artist and the viewers.”
From the project website:
“Historical Records is an ongoing project of collecting commercially released vinyl records that document political events of the twentieth century. The collection contains over 700 LP’s of speeches and interviews of those who were in power and others who objected this power, of wars and peace agreements, human rights struggles and other radio broadcasts, of the events that shaped history from the invention of the phonograph to the fall of the Berlin wall. The project examines how recorded political events were commodified and what role sound documentation has in the interplay between personal and collective/national memory.”

From Patin-a Website:
“When people ask us what we sell we always reply: "Dirt for clothing", thus causing incredulous and amused looks on their faces. Who wants to spend money on something they can have for free - and naturally so? Sooner or later, dirt will come by itself to every garment - sometimes more, sometimes less.
Fortunately (for us) there are people in the film business and at theaters who do not want to do without our dirt any more. They are the staff of the costume departments! Costumes need a special treatment to be brought to life.
Our PATIN-A products breathe new life in a dead, sterile garment, thus allowing the actor to shine in a costume with an authentic appeal.”
